- Buttered and toasted wholewheat sandwich buns
- Sliced tomato or onions
- Sliced cucumber or lettuce leaves
- Spread homemade pesto sauce or mayonnaise evenly over toasted buns.
- Top each with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, and salmon patty.
- Cover with tops of buns.
